While getting off the ship one day a man came up to me in tears. He asked if I was a Christian, to which I replied yes. <BR/><BR/>He explained that he was as well and that he and his family had been undergoing terrible persecution. When I got home he asked, please tell the church in the US to pray for the Indonesian Christians. He told me of beatings, killings and kidnappings.<BR/>I prayed with him and promised to tell my church.<BR/><BR/>Later an Indonesian man on the pier had a heart attack and our docs and corpsman performed CPR on him until the ambulance came. They rode with him to the hospital..where he died. Later I talked to the corpsman and he told me there were bodies everywhere at the hospital.
